Birthday Celebration

Tonight was a very good evening spent...with a dear friend cum ex colleague. Today is Emily's birthday.

Wasn't planning to spent a long night outside but hey, what can I say...it's my friend's birthday!!! Was only planning to have dinner with Emily and friends but ended up going for a few drinks and ended up at another friend's place.

Cool evening and was indeed very nice to celebrate a birthday for a close friend.

Am at another colleague's place and how I envy that they have their own place; a few close friends staying together, taking care of each other...so touching hor.

Using my colleague's super big flat computer screen. Definitely very cool to play games...so jealous!

Hitting the sack now as I need to wake up early to get ready for another meaningful gathering...the Front Office outing! We are having a chalet; a good get-together after a long, tired and stressful year!

Unplanned OFF Day

Went to work today and was looking at my schdule and realised I might not have a day off next week as we will be super busy. So I decided to take off today and head home. Anyway, wasn't in the mood to work.

Went to Marina Square with a colleague for a while cos he wanted to get a Blackberry. The shop we went was closed, even at 12pm!!! What time these people start work???

Then decided to head to another branch but didn't know where, thus called my colleague from the Concierge; that's one good thing about working in a hotel, your colleague at Concierge will know most of the answers. Before we head to the next branch, I decided to call and check. Thank GOD I called cos they told us things that was not shown on the papers, we decided to go home.

Reached home, played games (as usual) and my other friend came over to borrow some DVDs.

Classy Food & Comfortable Place

Went to a "high-class" dinner at Shangri-La Hotel last night; our hotel won one of the award and I was asked to join the dinner last minute. Borrowed a suit from hotel. Dinner was good, in fact very nice. 4 courses and had lots of wine...free mah, so drink all I can but was still trying to "act" class. Eat and drink demurely; aiyo very tiring to pretend someone I'm not!

After that went for supper with Edz and we both had a nice chat at one of his hangout place. Nice and cheap food. Definitely worlds apart from Shangri-La Hotel but was so much comfortable. Will definitely go there again if got the chance.

Got home at about 5am, had a quick shower as I was very very shack. Hit the sack and slept till 5pm today. Woke up and had a lazy day; just played games and did this blog. Heading to dream land again soon.

Sorry all, haven't been blogging for the longest time. Going some "crisis" in my life past few weeks. Don't worry, the BITCH is fine now (I hope). Was getting myself back to my feet; "losing" my best friend together with some "emo" moments together with some other personal problems... not a happy time and it's definitely ain't easy.

But the old saying always works; TIME will be the cure! And TIME really did cure and hope it's not temporary.

Haven't been to much things these few weeks.

Just a quick "re-cap' of what I have been up to...
Besides work, do home, play games... gone to PS Cafe at Dempsey Rd, with Liah, Norain and Sue, on 1st Oct to celebrate my best friend's birthday cum his new journey in life. Glad to see he's happy.
People!!! If you haven't been to Dempsey Rd, PLSSSSSSSSS go!!! It's really a cool place to chill but if you're looking for good food then that may not be the nicest place. I just loooooove the environment. And if you drive will be a bonus; walking in there may not be a good idea.

Am soooooooooooooo looking forward to next month (exactly 30 days time!!!) cos I'm going "HOME" again!!! This time with my new found travelling-kaki... Edz

p/s : Missed the time travelling with my old kakis (Mat & Carol) but recently the 3 of us have been busy at the different time thus travelling together seemed almost impossible now. BUT we have already plan for January's trip; the same old gang! YIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!
