Met up with Sadiq & Daniel after work. Went to do a little shopping cos we were helping Daniel to save on the ERP charges as it was only 6pm. Bought a pair of Nike running shoes. Tried the pair that I was eyeing for a long time but ended up buying another pair (but same design, different colour); I then realised how fast a person can change their mind over things.
Waited for Suelyn outside the Hotel so she can "finish her gossips at work". She mentioned 15mins......then, once again, I realised waiting for someone for 15mins seems like 25mins...or did we really waited for 25mins???....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :-P
After "ECP time", Daniel drove the 3 of us to Novena Square to met Liah.
1st went to Pasta Mania for dinner. We were about to enter the restuarant and realised there was a big group of noisy, irritating and noisy (did I mention that already) college girls were about to place their ugly school bags (and I mean UGLY) on 2 big tables (there's about 15 of them) and were about to queue to make their order. Upon seeing that, the 4 of us quickly threw our GORGEOUS bags on an empty table and dashed for the order counter. Of cos, being fast and smart (some called it "very Singaporean"), we were the 1st in queue, before the NOISY college girls came strolled in 1 by 1 and stand behind us. Did I mention they were NOISY? If I did, then I actually meant VERY NOISY!!!!
After taking our own sweet time ordering, we were trying to squeeze thru the bunch of NOISY girls to get back to our seatd. 1 of the VERY NOISY girls said something out when we walked passed them; "the queue is finally moving!". Well, "automatically" my mouth opened and I bitched back, "if you move, the queue will move!". Don't blame me, it was my natural instinct; God's gift!
Food was not fantastic, but just ok; maybe b'cos of the NOISY girls, they were still making lots of noise.
We then decided to go for coffee and relaxed. Proceeded to Starbucks, Sadiq's & Daniel's favourite hang out place. I must say, it's very cosy. I didn't want to move from the leather sofa seats after placing my butt comfortably on the cool leather surface.
The counter girl con me into buying the brownies, saying it's VERY good; in her actual words "you must try, it's VERRRYY good!". So I bought, I ate and I regretted! Nah, it wasn't her fault. Maybe she was just doing her job. Maybe she liked it and I don't. Maybe she had bad taste on food. But 1 thing for sure, I DON'T LIKE BROWNIES!!!
We were joking and joking and joking away. Had lots of fun making fun of Liah. Liah and me were supposed to share a taxi home but she changed her mind last minute to catch a movie with Sadiq. Well she just wanted to avoid me so I don't have the chance to ask her the ULTIMATE question...sorry guys, only the 4 of us knows that question. :-P
I also learnt something new from Sadiq..."TIGER PRAWN"!

Lazy BITCH .........part 2
Didn't blog again for the past few days...never seemed to like something for more than few days; that's me! :-P
Well haven't done much things for the past few days anyway.
Was downloading more songs to my Ipod; not that I can listen to my 2200+ songs in 1 day but just can't help to keep downloading. Came across Elliot Yamin (last session competitor from American Idol who didn't win) and guess what!!! He released his solo album!!! So can't help but to download! Hey people, listen to his songs, not bad!
Well that's all for tonight! Hitting the sack soon......after downloading a few more songs. :-P

Lazy BITCH!
Haven't been blogging for so many days!!! I'm such a lazy BITCH!!!
On the 1st day, I must say I was feeling somehow "guilty" cos I told myself before that I will blog everyday when I started but I gave myself the excuse of "I'm too tired lah, I'll do it tomorrow." Then on the 2nd day (yesterday), I'm still "tired" and I said the same thing on the 3rd day, and these went on for...... aiyo so many days!! So I told myself I MUST BLOG today, even I have to hide behind my back office to do it. Hahaha
I have friends who are sports franatic. They will complained when they don't exercise for 1 day saying they feel guilty or feel uneasy, I always find that weird, always asking myself "How can one feel guilty when one gets to rest and not further "stressed" their body?", shouldn't one be happy? Now I know how they feel cos I felt almost like that for breaking a promise I promised myself, and not doing something that I was so thrill about... BLOGGING.
Anyway...like Helmi mentioned in his blog, I've been doing lots of retail therapy...in fact, too much!!!!!! But I'm not regretting it. However 1 thing is, they are for my computer and not exactly for myself. My pc is having some probs so I thought buying an external drive and a virus scan can help....I was wrong!!! The probs still persist. How sad!
Having Helmi attached to me to do his cross-training as a Duty Manager. Hope I am a good teacher and teach him what he needs to know so he will be equipped with the "ammos". But he's doing very well so far! He had encountered so many different situations that a normal DM will encounter in a month or 2. He's VERY stressed up now but I'm sure he's gonna be another cool DM to work with!!!
Also jokingly told him to shower with flowers to ward off the bad luck....
maybe it's me who should do it??!! Had never see so many cases in 1 week in 1 shift!!! :-P

My Latest Gadget / Nikon Coolpix S9
FINALLY!!! Bought my own digital camera! So excited!!!
After my night shift yesterday, met up with my colleague, Helmi who was on his off days and did a "little" shopping. Had always wanted to get my own digital camera. Thanks to Helmi's help and got the Nikon Coolpix S9 and a bunch of freebies; Helmi was like, asking the sales person, is this free and can that be given free...and so on. In the end we got quite a good deal, or that's what we thought. Out of the bunch of freebies, there was a CDRom which Helmi was very certain that was very useful. However, we were not able to download the programme cos the serial number given was wrong (well, good things don't come free)! Despite that, I'm still very excited about my new cam!!! And thanks to Helmi for his re-commendation! Now I can start taking pictures and download to my Blog! Watch out people out there, I'll go snap snap snap at you very soon. Hahaha....

Amazing Race
Watched the Amazing Race. The 2 "Queens" didn't make it to the top 3, how sad! But they were so relaxed and cool about it. Can see that they were sad and disappointed (I will be too) cos they have come this far!!! They were also so sweet cos they mentioned they wanted the Cousins team to win this race...the $1 million!!!
Hmmm...I can't help but to wonder what will it be like if I were to be in the Asia's version of Amazing Race with my best friend, Faizal...?
Imagine... 2 bitchy, campy guys cursing and swearing for all the tough tasks we have to complete.
We properly will also waste a lot of time cos we'll be so busy checking out the cute guys in the various parts of the world and forgotten that we have to complete the given tasks...hahahaha
Faizy...can you imagine that???
But then again, Asia Amazing Race can only take 1 airline (AirAsia?). The teams doesn't have much choices, they can only take Airasia! Not like America's version, they can choice whichever flight they want, as long as the flight takes them to the destination, in the shortest time!
Anyway, I realised that at the end of every episode, before a certain team gets eliminated, they will show the last 2 teams fighting to find the way to the "Next Pitch Stop". They will always show 1 team looks lost and the other team was so confident in getting to the stop, however, at the end, it's the team that looks lost WINS!!! Did you realise that???
